MISSION
The mission of The Sankofa Center is to use traditional
African dance, music, and drama to educate youths and adults about HIV/AIDS and
provide free counseling, rapid HIV testing.
The Sankofa Center also works to links treatment and support services
for people living with HIV.
We use the arts to foster open communication and accurate
knowledge, to promote healthy behavior changes to protect, empower, and bring
togetherness to our human family in the face of this worldwide disease.
